Topic: WorldEdit Posting Guidelines
Hi!
As moderator of the WorldEdit forum, I just thought I'd outline some basic guides to follow when making threads here. Failure to follow guidelines may or will result in death, mockery, sacrifice of your firstborn, or numerous other possibilities.
- [*]Do not bump old threads - yes, this forum isn't that active. No, that doesn't mean you can get away with replying to a thread that's been out of service for months or years.
[*]Speak/write coherent English - failure to do so usually results in you getting ignored, which usually results in you posting the thread again, which usually results in me getting angry!
[*]Do some research - many basic questions can be avoided simply by reading the tutorial that comes with WorldEdit. Asking a question that is answered with such basic knowledge is completely unacceptable. However, if you have referred to the tutorial and would like clarification on a concept, then by all means ask away. Good: "Hello everyone, I was perusing the WorldEdit documentation and am not really sure when I should use variables. Anyone want to give me some tips?" Bad: "lol hey cud som1 tel me wut varibles is? PLZ??!! :puzzled::puzzled::puzzled::puzzled:"
By sticking to these three easy steps, this WorldEdit forum can be made a cleaner, happier place.
