Topic: More Computer Upgrade, Now with more $$ to Spend!

Hey, so i'm gonna be getting 480 dollars from work next week and I'm thinking about using 350 towards computer upgrades. This is what I've come down to.

I've done a bit of research and I was hoping to get the most bang for my buck.

If anyone knows of any better parts / products, please post it up since I want to make my money worthwhile. 350 probably isn't a lot, but I don't really want to use more than that towards these upgrades. Thanks. Oh yeah, after upgrading, will a 350 Watt power supply do?

Pentium D? Get a Core 2 Duo, pentium 4 series are not worth anything.

That card isn't much more expensive after the rebate (get it soon!), and is of the 8 series. Will probably give you slightly better performance as well as DX10.

EDIT: Maybe not, some reviews are saying that the 8600 GT isn't quite as powerful as the 7600 GT in a few cases. Whether this is driver support or something else only time will tell. sad
