Topic: Help buying a system

It's been a good 3.5 years or so since I've built my last computer, so I'm out of the loop on what I'm looking for, what I'm reading, and quite frankly I wouldn't mind having it in one piece when it gets to my door. 

Yes, it's been a while--now I'm moving to the uk and it hardly seems worth paying the shipping to get my current box over there, so I'll be getting something fresh.  I've been using a laptop for the past couple of years and I'm pretty much sick of it. 



I want a lot of storage, good audio, and to be able to run it for weeks on end without worry. 
Right now I have most of my valuable info on an external hdd and though I haven't had any problems yet, I want to have something more reliable


First off, what sites should I be looking at for what I'm looking to put together here?  Somebody point me in some direction

The last thread I made with a link to the newegg wish list is what I put together with the help of Pissing. Not sure hat your price range is, and if you are concerned about aufdio you might want to throw in a sound card.
