Topic: Kanye West - Graduation

I bought Graduation two days ago.

The album is some sort of electronic/soul/hip hop hybrid. At first when I heard the CD a week ago I didn't like it. Because the CD differs so much from his earlier work. But after a while it grew on me and I realized it's a damn good album.

My favorite tracks are Homecoming, Flashing Lights, The Glory, I Wonder, Stronger, Champion, well shit almost the whole CD.

Anyways, has anyone else listened to it?

yeah... i never would have thought daft punk + kayne would be any good, but i can't get enough of it.
Flashing lights is good, too, but I didn't think the whole CD was amazing.

I dunno, I'm not all that impressed.  I like Stronger because it's catchy, but the album as a whole doesn't really appeal to me.   Kanye made lyrical impact in the past, it feels like he's just finding random shit to rhyme now as filler.  (come on, "Klondike" to rhyme with "blonde dyke?")

I'm not going to buy it, but it's okay for something I didn't pay for.
