Topic: Radiohead- legal and as free as you want it.

I don't know if anyone posted about this or not, but the piracy discussion reminded me to post a link.

Radiohead's newest album "In Rainbows" is available for download, courtesy of Radiohead.  When you go to "purchase" the cd, you'll be prompted to enter the amount you'd like to pay for the CD.

I think this is awesome; if you're a fan of radiohead at all, download the CD, and give them at least a few dollars for making this groundbreaking decision- to leave the CD labels out of the loop.

If Kevin Costner were a super hero, his super power would be the ability to always find a rope of proper length and tensility coiled at his feet.

Yeah, me and Marsvolta both waited up to download this cd. I haven't had much time to listen to it yet, but I love it already. Videotape and Jigsaw falling into place are probably my two favorite songs so far, but I like a lot of the others quite a bit as well. Yeah, the whole free thing is kickass too!

Re: Radiohead- legal and as free as you want it.

Radiohead has been my number 1 for a long time, and will probably be at least in my top 5 for a lot longer. I have no desire or need for the discbox (what am I going to do with vinyl records) so after spending some time thinking about how I feel about the whole "name your price" thing, I put down 4 gbp for it, which is around 8 bucks I guess? 9 including the credit charge.

Well knows he who uses to consider, that our faith and knowledge thrives by exercise, as well as our limbs and complexion. Truth is compared in Scripture to a streaming fountain; if her waters flow not in a perpetual progression, they sicken into a muddy pool of conformity and tradition. A man may be a heretic in the truth; and if he believe things only because his pastor says so, or the Assembly so determines, without knowing other reason, though his belief be true, yet the very truth he holds becomes his heresy.
