Topic: Coheed and Cambria: No World for Tomorrow

I know we have a few Coheed fans on the board, what do you guys think of the new album?

I haven't had the chance to listen to it enough to rank it as far as the other albums go, but so far I really like it.

Re: Coheed and Cambria: No World for Tomorrow

I cannot get my hands on a copy anywhere and I really want one.  If you could hook me up, I'd be forever in your debt.

Haven't listened to it yet.  Actually I haven't even gotten it yet...need to do that.  There are a couple I need to get.  Need to get Puscifer's album, too.

Re: Coheed and Cambria: No World for Tomorrow

at first I didn't like it, I'm not sure why but I was expecting it to be just like burning star IV volume 1. Now though I can't listen to it enough, it's great. As for ranking them.. I can't even rank the first 3 in any particular order so I don't think I'd ever be able to throw this one in there too.

Aren't they gonna play like 3 shows in Cleveland in November?

Laugh hard it's a long way to the bank.

They're playing here tomorrow and halloween, I'm not sure if they're coming back in november.

Re: Coheed and Cambria: No World for Tomorrow

Not much of a fan of them, listen to them occasionally.. Just gave their new album a listen, pretty good I must say.

Re: Coheed and Cambria: No World for Tomorrow

Kinda funny, I went to a Coheed and Cambria concert once, pretty much for just the opening bands, The Blood Brothers and Dredg, when they were done we left... didn't stay to see them.

Common sense is what tells you the world is flat.

Re: Coheed and Cambria: No World for Tomorrow

When I first heard the album i was a tad disapointed, but then i listened to it about 10 more times and am now in love with it <3

But still i think my favorite one is In keeping secrets of silent earth, all thought its a very very hard call.

Re: Coheed and Cambria: No World for Tomorrow

Listened to it a couple times, it's decent.  I'm sure I'll like it a lot after five more listens or so.

I agree.  This new one will have to grow on me some.

Re: Coheed and Cambria: No World for Tomorrow

Yeah, musically I like silent earth the best, but I think conceptually,  in regards to the story, I like fear through the eyes of madness the best.

Re: Coheed and Cambria: No World for Tomorrow

I actually thought silent earth was the weakest of all the albums (I still think it's great) my favorite is probably second stage turbine blade.

Yeah, C&C live is pretty awesome.

Re: Coheed and Cambria: No World for Tomorrow

I've decided. I love this album.

Re: Coheed and Cambria: No World for Tomorrow

What do you all think of the last song? It seems like the writing writer somehow goes back into his fantasy world and dies. That's what I've decided after listening to it three dozen times so far.

Re: Coheed and Cambria: No World for Tomorrow

Wow... I haven't listed to C&C for while, but this is quite good.

Yea, I kinda got the same feeling.

After having listened to it more, this is my favorite album of theirs.  The End Complete is my favorite song(s) now, part 4 especially.

After plenty of listens, this is a great album.

Yeah that part is my fave too, it's got about 3 distinct parts that are all great. That and gravemakes and gunslingers are my two favorite, although I love the beginning of the running free. whatever, it's all good.

Re: Coheed and Cambria: No World for Tomorrow

Finally got my hands on the new album.  It's a hard decision as to which album I like the most now.  I'll have to listen to the new one some more but I already think its fucking awesome.
