Yup, just got back from it!!
It was freaking awesome, all I can say. One of the best parts, for me, was to be around a large number of fellow gamers for pretty much the first time in my life. I went with my wife and she loved it too. They didn't get to some of the songs I wanted, like from Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross, or some of the more obscure games like Earthworm Jim, but they had all the necessary mario, zelda, final fantasy (including One Winged Angel, of course), warcraft, halo. They also had metal gear, castlevania, and some others. The Blindfold Pianist participated in it, and the president of Capcom was in the audience. The laser lights were fantastic, and the occasional dude coming onto the stage in costume was not too frequent or annoying. They promised to have games that people could play before the show started, and apparently that translates to one PC with an FPS that I didn't recognize, 2 vintage arcade machines of Space Invaders and Centipede, and 2 Guitar Hero 3 stations. Given that the place was packed to the brim, that didn't quite cut it imo. But I honestly didn't expect much more, and I don't blame them.
I highly recommend it.
Well knows he who uses to consider, that our faith and knowledge thrives by exercise, as well as our limbs and complexion. Truth is compared in Scripture to a streaming fountain; if her waters flow not in a perpetual progression, they sicken into a muddy pool of conformity and tradition. A man may be a heretic in the truth; and if he believe things only because his pastor says so, or the Assembly so determines, without knowing other reason, though his belief be true, yet the very truth he holds becomes his heresy.
