Topic: Anyone From North Dakota?

So... Hi

This is the only place I could ask this

I was offered a scholarship for a Masters in Education at VCSU (Valley City State University) in Valley City, North Dakota

My question is, what can anyone tell me of either VCSU or the Town its located in

What to expect from the people there?

Liberal, Conservative?

Tolerant?

Religious?

well, It might be an interesting option, I'm tempted cause its a 100% scholarship with housing in campus included, and still it doesn't seem enough, don't know why


And about my ethnicity, It wont matter that much, I have perfect English, no accent and I'm pretty sure I'm well used to U.S. culture in general

There's the accent you get to deal with if you go up there.  And generally the weather you'll get to deal with too.

The only REAL experience I have relating to north dakota at all is a girl in one of my classes who is from there.  She's a decent enough person.  Can't really say anything about anyone else from the area.  I would guess very conservative and boring.
