Section 8 sucks and MW2 scored better than Borderlands and Section 8. I'm confused by your post. That's all.

More of the same as MW1. The custom kill streaks added a bit of variety and the perk system is much improved... but really it's just more of the same. Not that it's a bad thing.

I am stilling finishing Borderlands, and bought, but have yet to play Section 8. A low score for MW2 is one more reason why I should not hurry up to buy it, when I still have two games to play.
And while Borderlands may have a lower metascore, it's got a much higher user score, even on PC, which, at least according to gearbox's forums, seems to have a lot of issues. Sectino 8 also has a lower metascore, but again, a higher use score. As I was laughing at the user score, and such a low score gives me no reason to buy the game. In fact, it gives me a reason not to buy MW2 anytime soon.

Holy shit the maps in this game are huge. I've liked pretty much everything about it so far though.

Never trust user scores for popular and/or exclusive titles. People who just flat out do not "get" what makes the game popular will give it low scores without even playing it, as will the crowd who just doesn't see the point in a sequel, but will then go out and buy Tales of X #406.
Not to mention people seem to have an undying hatred for Activision lately -- that'll probably also have people posting lower scores without playing the game.

Game's great, and so are most of the maps, with the exception of Wasteland. What a load of ass that map is.

PC user score is low because PC base feels like they were shafted with features they have been accustomed with. The game is solid from what I hear by everyone I know.

Yeah a lot of pc people are crying about dedicated servers, but i could care less right now. I'm getting my tender mw2 loving in and it's great.
