Well...all of the sudden lately, my AIM and MSN have just been disconnecting every 10 minutes. It just disconnects and I have to reconnect it. It's really annoying.

First thing I'd do is reinstall aim and msn.. also make sure you have fully upgrade versions..
Dont worry about your buddy list its stored server side on the aol and msn servers so theyll be okay..

It's probably just an issue with the connection between your ISP and the AIM servers. The internet has been sort of flaky as a whole lately because of some problems with Cisco routers...honestly I think that if you just put up with it for a while it'll go away. Of course you can still try reinstalling, but I suspect that this is a problem you can't do anything about.
P.S. How is it that you have an 866 MHz processor and DDR RAM? I didn't think there were any motherboards that supported the non-XP Athlons and DDR RAM, and I'm almost certain there are no Athlon XPs that run at 866 MHz. What type of motherboard do you have?

Its a pentium 3..not athlon. Hehe..
Well..I can guarantee a reinstall won't do anything...and its probably not the servers. They both started being evil at the same time. They like both shut off at the same time. I might have deleted a good file through adaware or something. Also my buddy list is saved anyway....and 50% of my buddies are from this board anyway..so I'm not worried about that.
Well, it need not be their servers. It could be a problem on your ISP's end.
Also, I didn't think that any Pentium 3 motherboards had DDR support -- I kind of thought that Intel skipped DDR altogether and went straight to RDRAM support, until that proved unpopular.
Oh well, whatever.
Yeah but my friends use the same ISP and they don't have those problems.
I really could care less..As long as its supported. I know i have a pentium 3 becuase it says pentium 3 866 when I start up and has the pentium on the case. And I know I have ddr 512 ram becuase I bought it a few months ago and installed it. Too bad the 512 + my old 128 wasn't supported or something. So I had to remove the 128

Heh, I had the same problem, but it was a bit different. My connection kept on disconnecting every 5-10 minutes. But I reformatted my hard drive and I used this website to help speed up my downloads/connection/ping in games/faster gaming performance.
