Re: Laptop Advice Plz

i got through college fine w/o a laptop, so unless your desktop is total crap I'm gonna vote getting a laptop just because you're going to college isn't worth it no matter the value

Laugh hard it's a long way to the bank.

Re: Laptop Advice Plz

alienware is overpriced.
here is basically the same shit you got goin there
http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/ntbkx57800.asp?v=d , but a faster processor for 300 less dollars....they have cheaper notebooks available as well...i bought a desktop from these guys a year back and its pretty badass, and was much cheaper than what alienware had to offer

Re: Laptop Advice Plz

Alienware is most definitely overpriced. You pay for the brand though. My friend has an alienware desktop from 4 years ago and hasn't had to upgrade anything on it and runs everything he plays at full settings so I can't fault their performance. I do think that you would be better off going for a company like the one Ashum posted.

I have a desktop at college... everyone I know for a laptop could be doing the same thing with a desktop. It isn't worth it.

qft, I had a laptop at college my freshman and sophomore years, and I never took it off my desk. I might as well have had a desktop, which is what I bought my junior year and was way happier.

Well knows he who uses to consider, that our faith and knowledge thrives by exercise, as well as our limbs and complexion. Truth is compared in Scripture to a streaming fountain; if her waters flow not in a perpetual progression, they sicken into a muddy pool of conformity and tradition. A man may be a heretic in the truth; and if he believe things only because his pastor says so, or the Assembly so determines, without knowing other reason, though his belief be true, yet the very truth he holds becomes his heresy.
