Heihachi Mishima...
Is dead.
I fear no evil, I fear no death, for the Emperor comes for me.
Re: Hype Machine
Information has slowed to a trickle what do you expect.

Re: Hype Machine
This is how it always is. We won't hear a peep till the next conference or event, where we'll get a flurry of information. Then we'll get absolute silence for months till all of a sudden they pop a closed beta on us.
It'd be nice if blizzard operated more like the team making the new Smash Brothers game; they release a new tidbit of information on their website daily. It's usually not anything big, but it keeps the fans coming back.

They are doing that, which makes the hype machine break.
Re: Hype Machine
WTB zerg info!
I think what they're doing is smart. There's only so much information, and a lot of it might change drastically in the near future as testing goes on. So the way they release information in bunches helps creating that hype feeling every time something comes out. It's still probably a long time til the game goes in true pre-release hype mode, too.
I just want to play the beta =\
<d-end> watch anime
<d-end> those are the 2 things I do when I'm bored!
Re: Hype Machine
What are you guys even talking about?
The official site is updated regularly (okay, so it's been about two weeks since the last update -- big deal) and fan-submitted questions are answered every week (link). It's not that new information isn't being released, it's that nobody's posting it on these forums.
<Viserys> and there's no gratification
Re: Hype Machine
It's almost as if the OP thinks Blizzard's marketing department is doing a bad job.
Which is a slightly odd thing to think about a PC game company that regularly sells millions of copies within the first week after each game's release.
