Those are some pretty clever connections you made.
Lost Vikings would make sense if Blizzard was wanting to make an entrance into the console market.
I doubt that is what it will be though. If they announce a new Lost Vikings game the level of disappointment will be palpable. The only people that care about Lost Vikings are elitist blizzard fanboys that like to flex their epeen on gaming forums by claiming Lost Vikings is their favorite Blizzard game. It annoys the shit out of me, in every Blizzard thread there will always be some douche that claims that they would be most excited about a new Lost Vikings, Blackthorne, or Rock N Roll Racing game.

As far as I can tell, they tried REALLY hard to get it to look similar to the Lich King to "fool" people, but we know it is a new game, and the details don't match around the eyes.

Well I just guessed and tried them; I also tested for the warcraft forum names though, and none of those have valid identifiers higher than 3.
