Topic: tell me why I should or shouldn't buy this laptop...

My sister is headed off to college.  She would like to spend as little as possible, and still be able to run a few games.  She can go as high as maybe 1500, but she'd rather keep it under 1200.

She's interested in maybe checking out StarCraft2, though i don't know what the system requirements will look like, so i don't know if that's possible.


Other suggestions on cheap, good laptops are welcome.  I'm betting if the graphics card will run current games at decent to high settings, she'll be more than set.

That's a very good laptop. I have been out of the loop on pricing so you have to do some searching and compare yourself. The GT 120M should perform like a 9600M, so that's not too bad for mobile GPU. The rest of the hardware looks solid. SC2 shouldn't be a problem at all on that machine.

cool.  Thanks.  We ordered it.  We're going to get it set up hopefully this upcoming weekend.  If I like it I might have to get myself one tongue
